Rockwell Experiment

This is something I started a couple of years ago while studying one of my favourite American Illustrators, Norman Rockwell. I love how he would use existing reference imagery and yet extract his own characters from his source material. Here I was attempting to do similar while also studying his usage of lines and tones etc. I would like to revisit this piece and do some more little experiments like it.
